Giving this 5 stars because I would give it 4 but it gets an extra star for being so great in MTP IA. Listen, Im from Boston, and NOBODY has fried clams around here, anywhere, even in places Ive been in Iowa city and DM. This place got em, and damn good steak w a BOMB drink list and a hell of a price range. Really good meals, for really good deals. Thanks to these guys.

Great atmosphere the bartender was so nice and the owner is very nice. Will visit again when I'm in town. Serina is the best bartender ever.

Went last night with a group of 7 people. I like that they make their own dressing - not all types, but the blue cheese, ranch, and thousand island salad dressings are made in house. As well as the special marinade you can opt to have for your steak. The salad itself was crisp and fresh. The best item was the shrimp appetizer. It was fried with light crispy batter with some sort of delicious sauce drizzled on it. The steak and mashed potato were okay.

DO NOT EAT HERE. I was in Mount Pleasant with my son for a college tour of Iowa Wesleyan. We stopped at Keo's to get a quick bite to eat before heading back to Wisconsin. The service was "ehh". When we walked in, there was no hostess or sign at the front to say whether you should seat yourself or if someone would come seat you. The waitresses who were moving about the room didn't seem to be interested in saying hello to us or anything else. I never go into restaurants or any other establishment (regardless of location) assuming the people there are going to treat me a certain way because of my ethnic origin. I presume they'll be polite & cordial to me because I'm a customer. Sadly, so many of them prove me wrong. This place was no different. The waitress was polite enough in taking our order, but it took longer than usual for us to get glasses of water once we were seated, and it took even longer for us to get the food we ordered. I had a chicken club sandwich. It arrived cold, with 2 limp pieces of bacon and a slice of individually wrapped processed cheese-food swiss cheese. When I sent it back, the waitress quipped, "Do you want us to microwave it?" What she brought back wasn't my original sandwich after microwaving; it was a completely different sandwich. The chicken patty on the sandwich was hot, but not hot enough to melt the fake cheese on it. The bacon was just as limp & the rest of the sandwich was just as cold as the other had been. I picked the fake cheese, the limp bacon & cold bun off of the chicken & ate some of it. The menu said it was a chicken breast, but it was actually a chopped & formed "chicken breast-shaped patty". Gross. My son and his friends (all 17yr old boys, so food is SUPER important to them) didn't like their meals either. One of them had a burger that was "just okay, kinda dry"; another had fish that he said tasted like it had been fried in old grease. "I thought it was going to be filets or strips of fish... it looked kinda like they just exploded a fish & fried the bits up." Here's what I don't get: the place was full of customers. People actually LIKE that food, seriously? Fake cheese, limp bacon, fish bits, formed chicken patties? Smh. The entire experience was so unsatisfactory I asked to speak to the manager after we finished and paid for our meal. She offered us a gift certificate for a free order of hot wings whenever we return. I don't think we'll be using it, though. Free or not, I don't want to eat ANYTHING ELSE that comes out of their kitchen.
